It’s been a great week of healthy eating and exercise…I never stopped my P90x3 workouts (we are starting week 6 tomorrow) and back to getting my steps up and eating a more reasonable portion of food…sometimes the food is so good I almost inhale it…LOL I will say I am way better at my food control and learning to say no to it when I know I am full.

So since Monday Morning I lost 3.2 lbs and 1.5% body fat…I didn’t do measurements I just felt I needed to reset and get myself back on track before my eating and drinking started to control me…I was at 120 lbs one day last week so guess that is a number I didn’t care to see on scale and knew if I didn’t get back on track I’d be feeling sluggish and with summer here I don’t have time for lazy 🙂
Eating healthy doesn’t have to taste bad…it may take a little extra time to prepare but in the end your body will thank you for it.

Finished the 3 day refresh on Monday night… weighed in and did measurements first thing on Tuesday.
I had a loss of 4.6 pounds and 4 inches…🏆I only took measurements on my belly bump scar, belly button and hips.
Overall I didn’t find it too hard… First day I had a bit of a headache…Of course I wanted my munchies and carbs…steak but it was only for 3 days so I knew I could have that in no time. I have to say the only thing is I don’t think I would do this on a weekend next time… Just because you are out doing stuff and you might get a bit weak from the change of diet… Plus if you want to socialize it would be a bit hard… Especially if you get the hangries…
Side effects I had were head ache and some gas:o…also we ate pretty much the same meals and didn’t workout just walked around 10,000 steps daily.
Next one is in about 3 months. ..I told Brian it wasgoing to be Labor Day weekend he promptly told me off….lol😂
I am just back from a week-long work trip to two of our offices on the west coast…
I managed to do my PiYo every day using my Beachbody on Demand Club membership to access my purchased Beachbody workouts and just steamed them from my laptop. I still got up around 5 am sometimes early…the time change for me was -4 hrs so it was a bit hard to adjust too

I did have my chocolate Shakeolgoy 4 out of the 6 days on the road…I do notice that when I don’t drink it I pick at food and nothing seems to really satisfy my hunger…so this is a good thing for when I drink it I don’t want to eat all through the day.
Now food is where I didn’t fare so well…seemed like the restaurants I went to were full of carbs…had some sushi and noodle bowls and plenty of oysters. With my supper meals I would have an alcoholic beverage 🍷🍹 two at the most. This is a huge improvement of my past where I would sit back and drink just because…but since working out the past year I find I don’t tend do that any more

Every day I also got at least 10000 steps.walking to the offices or out to supper at night…I enjoyed going out rain (I took my wet-skin rain-suit with me) or shine just nice to be outside enjoying the sunshine and the very few flowers that i found.
Now that I am back home it will be great to get back into routine and follow 21 Day Fix meal plan; but first I am doing the 3 Day Refresh to cleanse out the toxins I had over the past week and get down to my target weight around 115 lbs…while I was away I gained 3.6 lbs…crazy!
We returned home last week from Punta Cana Blau Natura Eco Park…it was so beautiful there. Perfect for those who love nature, birds and walking.
I got plenty of steps in; after our winter and having an awful sinus cold that made my head spin so bad i got sick a few times…it was great to see the sunshine and get out and walk and feel the warmth…one day I got just under 20,000 steps. I still had the sinus cold the first few days but nothing like I had the week before. Just grateful I was still able to make it on vacation 🙂
There are so many birds; the ones I can think of at the moment are

- Snowy Egret
- Great White Egret
- Common Moorhen
- American Kestrel
- White Cheeked Pintail
- Snow Geese
- Night Heron
- Green Heron
- Tri Coloured Heron
- There was a huge mallard duck with an afro type feathers…read that it is probably a cross bread of some sort.
- Flying we saw lots of Pelicans and Buzzards
At night we saw a huge bat the first few nights we were there but couldn’t get a photo of it…so fast and dark.
Saw a huge frog or toad, and very little ones after a rain storm (lasted maybe an hour).
We didn’t walk the beach this time…just never got to it. But it was beautiful.
